New boys to the league Fergie Boys where given a baptism of fire in this one as they found themselves being outclasses by a makeshift DOE side inspired home to victory by their talismanic midfielder Rodd Gibbs as his thunderbolt of a right foot guided his team home to victory. Mr DOE himself Chris Plumpton pulled off a string of fine saves in the process as he and his team put breathing space between themselves and the relegation zone.

4.5 Men		7	v	10	FC Twenty Somethings
Top Scorer:	Luke Rawcliffe (4)					M.O.M:	Luke Rawcliffe (FC Twenty Somethings)
The promising start to the season made by 4.5 Men look to be faltering as they slipped to a disappointing defeat to FC Twenty Somethings who in the process put their championship hopes back on track! Luke Rawcliffe proved to be the difference as he showed his ruthless eye in front of goal and slotted in 4 for his team, who not sit just two points off the top with a game in hand, looking as if they will be serious contenders this time round.

4.5 Men		5	v	8	FC Ibiza

4.5 Men slipped to yet another disappointing defeat here as they went home empty handed tonight, FC Ibiza kept top spot in the process and sit top with a 2 point cushion! Chris Murray being the main man in this one as his work rate and finishing proved to be too much for the backline of 4.5 Men, gaffer Charlie Poskitt will be hoping that their influential striker Gio Dellacorte returns to the first team set up soon as they look to be missing his fire power up front and will now be looking nervously over their shoulder and towards the drop zone.

Irwin FC	10		v	12	Toffee Boys
Top Scorer:		Magic (6)				M.O.M:	Harrison Briggs (Irwin FC)
Tonight’s debutants Irwin FC found themselves thrown in at the deep end but put up a valiant effort against the well organised Toffee Boys, Nathan Bowen Price proving to be hot property this season and taking his tally up to 15! Magic looks to be a good recruit for Toffee Boys as he fired in 6 and made an impressive debut performance. As for Irwin FC they will be hoping for more in the coming weeks and next season as they look to build on this steady start and hold onto their start players like Harrison Briggs.

Don’t Know FC		14	v	8	Purple Cobras
Top Scorer:	Ryan Bradley (6)					M.O.M:	Ben Lofthouse (don’t Know FC)
Don’t Know FC continued their impressive 100% start to the season here but found themselves up against it at certain periods of this game as Purple Cobras gave it their all! Ryan Bradley proved to be the difference as his wand of a left foot fired in 6 for the Don’t Know FC boys who look to secure their second promotion in two seasons, as for Purple Cobras they now look as if they are locked in a battle to secure promotion via 2^nd place.

A Tuesday night thriller here as there was simply nothing to separate these two Championship Titans! The Boys proving to be a force to be reckoned with in their first season down here at Playfootball and will be hoping to push on and secure promotion next season you feel with players such as Marco Cobb proving to be key to their efforts, as for Token Ginger Lad it looks as if they are involved in a battle to secure their Championship status this time round as they sit just one place above the drop zone.

A crunch encounter here as Dynamo Delinquents confirmed there promotion credentials with a grind it out victory against relegation threatened FC Downtown however this game was not all one way traffic as Ross Thornley showed The Delinquents that FC Downtown where not just there to make up the numbers! Jake Schora again being the main man for The Delinquents in this one as he fired in another 4 taking his tally to 33 for the season, the golden boot must surely be in his sites!

5’s Super League

Real So So Bad and Ham Stars both fought it out for a point a piece with the score line finishing at 7-7. Pravia Slague narrowly come out on top against Unreal Madrid with the score line finishing 12-10. Gendros began the night with a good victory over Debenhams Devils 16-10. Pravia Slague continued their winning ways beating Gendros in their second game of the evening with the score line finishing at 15-11.

6’s Premiership

Bradnum Sunday continued their winning ways beating last years league winners Foo Fighters in a close encounter with the score line finishing at 9-5. Hotspurm Rovers also continued winning ways beating Pathetico Madrid 10-6. Karl Williams Boys had the biggest victory over Sunny’s boys 18-5.

Friday Fantasy Junior League A
Classico FC	13		v	6	Pork Vale
Top Scorer:		Tom Preston (5)				M.O.M:	Jay Morton
Top of the league Classico were in action tonight against 4^th place Pork Vale. Classico dominated from the first whistle, a combination of Tyler Clarke and Dillon Collon, tore Pork Vale to shreds, with their change of pace and their silky feet. Although Classico seemed to be walking this game, they just weren’t able to keep control of Pork Vales only threat Tom Preston caused Classico’s defence all sorts of trouble, his pace and strength was holding of the defence and getting his shots off. Jay Morton in goals for Classico was sensational tonight, pulling of sopme superb saves and making it a comfortable victory for his team in the end.

Friday Fantasy Junior League B
Arselona	12		v	12	The Spacemen
Top Scorer:		Jake Barrett (6)				M.O.M:	Jake Barrett
The Spacemen really put a spanner in the works tonight with a sensational result against top of the league Arselona. This was a end to end game with both teams trying to gain control, it was a battle in the middle of the park tonight with neither team able to dominate completely. Spacemen were going toe to toe with the unbeaten Arselona, not giving them any room to play. The second half, was epic, both teams just going all out, Jake Barret for Arselona was on fire, his superb finishing is what kept his team in the game. Spacemen thought they had won it, until a silly mistake cost them the 3 points. However Spacemen should be proud, they have now set their standards and should keep to this level for the rest of the season.

Friday Fantasy Junior League C
LA Crunchie	14		v	4	Unathletico Madrid
Top Scorer:		Bruno Viviano (4)				M.O.M:	Cameron Fernie
Both teams went into this game unbeaten and full of confidence. However Unathletico were a weakened side tonight, with a few regulars missing they just were unable to get into a rhythm. This crucial game was dominated by La Crunchie who were fantastic, knocking the ball around superbly, they also pressed Madrid high up the pitch all night causing them to make mistakes, and then Bruno who was clinical, capitalised on these mistakes giving the Madrid keeper no chance. LA Crunchie Piled on the pressure in the second half really exposing the Madrid keeper and punishing the none existent Unathletic defence.

Friday Fantasy Junior League D
Sondico Allstars	11		v	12	Scouting For Goals
Top Scorer:		Harry Jonson (7)				M.O.M:	Morgan Walsh
Sondico and Scouting for goals who have got off to a slow start this season, not getting any points out of the first 2 games and both finding them selves rock bottom of the league. This grudge game is crucial to both teams to get the ball rolling on their seasons. This was a close game neither team really dominating and not much football played. However there were tackles flying in everywhere, this was a battle that both teams were determined to win. Cameron Chis was driving his team on from the back, in the last attack of the game, Scouting for Goals piled everyone forward overloading the Sondico defence who were out on their feet, after a goal mouth scramble Harry Jonson managed to bundle the ball over the line clinching the vital 3 points.

Friday U16 7s Champions League
Bayern Bru	4		v	8	Ill Sock you
Top Scorer:		Callum Musgrove (4)				M.O.M:	Callum Musgrove
After a few chops and changes in tonight’s squad, Ill Sock you came out with a comfortable victory putting them top of the table. Ill Sock you seemed very comfortable out their tonight, knocking the ball around and creating goal scoring opportunities for fun. Callum Musgrove who is the engine in the middle of the park, drove his team on, chasing down everything and putting his body on the line for his team. The Pace of Moss Sinsom up front caused Bayern lots of trouble tonight, Moss stretched their defence allowing James Garbelt and Callum to attack through the middle and expose the helpless Bayern keeper. If Ill Sock you can keep this good form up, then this league could be theirs for the taking.

Tuesday Night Express Premiership
FC Ibiza	10		v	15	Toffee Boys
Top Scorer:		Nathan Bowen Price (7)				M.O.M:	Chris Balcow (4)
A very even game here, Toffee boys just managing to nick it in the end, Nathan Bowen Price proving to be the difference as he ran the defence of FC Ibiza ragged, in the process securing his team a valuable victory as he and his team look to keep their head above water in the fight to stay in the Premiership! As for the pace setters FC Ibiza gaffer Tom Williams will be hoping this defeat doesn’t dent their confidence too much as they go in search of their first Premiership title.

Purple Cobras		10	v	9	FNO
Top Scorer:	Steve (6)					M.O.M:	Steve (Purple Cobras)
Purple Cobra’s kept pace with the leases in this one, now just sitting three points behind Don’t Know FC as they go in hunt of promotion to the promise land of the Premiership, in the end it proved to be Steve of The Cobra’s who was the difference as he fired his team home to victory with an impressive 6 goals and took his tally for the season to 13, putting himself in the hunt for the golden boot award in the process.

A Makeshift The Boys side still managed to get past the stern test posed by FC Downtown who look to be struggling with the pace of the Tuesday Night Championship as they still go in search of their first win after a dismal run of form. As For The Boys after entering the league late they look to be putting together a good run of form and could even be outsiders to mount a challenge for promotion.

FNO’s title hopes look to be fading before their eyes here as they now fit 4^th and look as if they are going to be locked in a battle for mid table security after this one, Dynamo Delinquents showing their class as they where well organised all night long and it was left for Jake Schora and Brad Birch to do the damage in front of goal however Ben Copeltone can go home feeling hard done by after this one after he produced a top notch performance and still could not prevent his team from losing.

Token Ginger Lad		8	v	18	Don’t Know FC
Top Scorer:	John Dovey (6)					M.O.M:	Sam Armour (Token Ginger Lad)
After gaining promotion together from Division 1 last season Don’t Know FC look to be carrying on their march up the divisions, currently the pace setters this season with a 100% record, gaffer Gary Musgrave receiving plaudits from all angles as it appears he can do no wrong, as for Token Ginger Lad they sit languishing 3^rd from bottom and look to have a battle on their hands to stay in the championship, John Dovey proving to be the difference in this one as he dusted off his shooting boots and fired in 6 for don’t Know FC.

Nottingyourmums Forrest	13		v	12	The Links
Top Scorer:		Jordan Vaughan (6)				M.O.M	Guy Sharrocks (The Links)
The Links carried on their rich vein of form here as they managed to edge past Nottingyourmums Forrest 13-12 with the goal being scored in the latter stages of the game, with Links defending their goal like their lives depended on it for the final few minutes of the game! Guy Sharrocks was the main man for The Links as he ran the game from midfield with his quick feet and great vision, if his and The Links good form continues you feel they will be playing their trade in the Championship next season.

Nottingyourmums Forrest	16		v	19	Wolves and Hampton
Top Scorer:		Ellis Heyes (7)				M.O.M	Ellis Heyes (Wolves and Hampton)
Ellis Heyes having a debut to remember for Wolves and Hampton as he almost single handily inspired a second half comeback from his team to secure a famous victory! Wolves and Hampton now look to be in with a real chance of promotion as they now sit just 1 point off the automatic promotion places! As for Notingyourmums Forrest it looks as if they will have to wait till next season after tonight disappointing display taking no points from a possible 6.

5’s Superleague

Western Dragons began their night beating Mountain Dew 14-10. Cup Of Ty picked up another three points beating Mountain Dew 21-11. Pro Wannabies and Ballz Deep both fought it out for a point each with the score line finishing at 14-14. Unreal Madrid and Real So So Bad both settled for a point with both teams scoring 7 goals a piece. Debenhams Devils come out on top against Western Dragons with a convincing 25-4 victory. Gendros picked up a vital three points beating Real So So Bad 11-9.

6’s Premiership

Hotspur rovers narrowly come out on top against Karl Williams boys with the score line finishing at 9-8. Top Perves began their night with a convincing win over Sunny’s boys, with the score line finishing at 9-4. Last seasons winners left it short with their first loss in 11 games with Pathetico Madrid taking all three points with the score line finishing at 11-8.

Racing Santander	15		v	14	Deportivo
Top Scorer:		Adam Poppleton (6)				M.O.M:	James Singleton
James Singleton and his boys were in a battle tonight and came out the other side victorious. Santander and Deportivo went blow for blow in this game, with both teams trying to play football. The game was end to end, Karl Holmes and Adam Poppleton were prolific upfront for Santander, the movement in and around the box just created them the scoring opportunity that they both were not going to pass up. Deportivo were not going to give up without a fight tonight Dean Ainsworth drove his team on, leading the line from the front, with the support of his team mates Ross and Adam Gill they were going toe to toe with Santander, however James Singleton in goal for Santander was pulling of saves left right and centre and managed to scrape the three points for his team.

Sunday Night Spanish Primera BBVA
Getafe	14		v	19	Athletico Madrid
Top Scorer:		Chris Porter (7)				M.O.M	James Hebbs
*Getafe* just do not seem the same dominant side as they were last year. Madrid ran this game from start to finish controlling the majority of the possession, knocking the ball around superbly and really making Getafe work hard, Chris Porter was constantly stretching the tiring Getafe defence, these runs were enabling Chris to pick the ball up in shooting positions and he did not disappoint, his finishing was superb putting it past the better of the O’Boyle brothers. In the second half Madrid were the dominant side again, however after a few lapses in concentration Getafe were presented with goal scoring opportunities that they were just unable to convert. If Getafe are going to survive in this league they need to recall a natural goal scorers such as the Italian Stallion Luca Vettese and the dumpling Chris Kelly.

Getafe	15		v	27	Villareal
Top Scorer:		Ryan Bradley (14)				M.O.M	Andy Graham
Villareal were back up to their old tricks again tonight dominating Getafe who really had a bad night. Ryan Bradley finally pulled his finger out and put on his shooting boots and managed score an incredible 14. However if it wasn’t for the support from his team mates such as Andy graham who’s work ethic was fantastic constantly up and down the pitch making last ditch tackles to keep his team in it. Villareal made hard work of it in the first half but in the second half they turned up the heat and really punished Getafe and ended up winning very comfortably

Sunday Night Spanish Segunda Division
Sevilla	19		v	4	Barcelona
Top Scorer:		Ben Fisher (7)				M.O.M	Ryan Fisher
The Fisher brother ran riot tonight, the combination of the work ethic from Ryan and the clinical finishing from Ben was a force to be recon with. The new team Barcelona just didn’t seem interested in this game tonight; they just could not string a pass together and kept giving the ball away in thee own half presenting Sevilla with opportunities to punish them. The pace from Jordan Lewis was stretching the static Barcelona defence and exposing the helpless Barca keeper over and over again. Sevilla were clinical In front of goal tonight putting away every sniff of a chance they got.

Sunday Night 6’s League
6 Allstars	3		v	13	Sweet 6s
Top Scorer:		Ben Duffield (6)				M.O.M:	Ben Duffield
Gilliband’s men did him proud tonight as they dominated there opponents 6 Allstars from the first whistle. Ben Duffield had his spray can out tonight, knocking diags for fun. His pin point passing was putting the ball on a plate s for his team mates Scott Gibbs and Danny Hall just to knock in. Sweet 6s were also a man down tonight as Ryan Bradley might as well of not been there, he needs to pull his finger out if he ever wants to play in that team again, he looked completely out of his depth. Lingard and Col stood strong at the back as usual, not giving the Allstars a chance to get a shot off. *This was a mature performance from Sweet 6s as in the second half they parked the bus and relied on the pace of Duffield for counter attacks catching Allstars out time and time again.*

Sunday Night 6’s League
White Eagle VI	7		v	3	Six Offenders
Top Scorer:		Janusz Kuca (3)				M.O.M:	Janusz Kuca
The reigning league champions White Eagle were in action again tonight against Six Offenders. Their player Manager Janusz Kuca was in inspired form tonight after 6 weeks out with an injury he came back into the team tonight and lead the line superbly. The Six Offenders just were not the same dominant force that they normally are, the organisation of White Eagle was just too much for them and they just could not break them down. Six Offenders in there kit seemed like they had all the gear but just no idea tonight, even the keeper was throwing them in. It was comfortable win in the end for White Eagle and another 3 points as they march on towards retaining their title.

Top Scorer:		Jack Lavery (6)				M.O.M:	Jack Lavery
Borussia Teeth put another sensation performance in, starting just were they left of last season. They passed the ball around superbly creating chance after chance that their clinical striker Jack Lavery who was in inspired form tonight could not miss. This team performance was not down to one player, the whole squad pulled their weight tonight and really taught limited Edition a footballing lesson, performances from Ryan Wallace, Jack Lavery and Jake Walford stood out tonight and dominated the deflated limited edition.

Kirkham V	8		v	14	Norkfolk Enhance
Top Scorer:		Ben Anderson (5)				M.O.M:	Ben Anderson
Kirkham are having another disappointing start to this season. Yet again they had a slow start to the game, leaking goals constantly in the first half. However they got them selves together in the second half and put up a fight, passing the ball around like we know they can. Kirkham started to create chances and were able to claw there way back into this game. Unfortunately in the dying few minutes of the game Sam Hinds for Norlfolk put this game well out of sight after 2 consecutive screamers he put passed the helpless Kirkham keeper.

Scoresome Foursome	6		v	17	Unity Collad
Top Scorer:		Brad Ashe (5)				M.O.M:	Brad Ashe
After a disappointing start to the season last week Unity bounced back in style, taking Scoresome Foursome to peaces tonight. Unity Collad were fantastic tonight, passing the ball around superbly dismantling Scoresome with ease, there pin point passing carved open Scoresomes defence and exposed their keeper time and time again. Brad Ashe ran this game from the first whistle and his clinical finishing combined with his fantastic work ethic is why he won Man Of The Match tonight. If Unity can play like this every week then they will definitely be challenging for the league this season.

Friday Fantasy Junior League D
AFC Qater	11		v	10	Scouting For Goals
Top Scorer:		Joel Platt (6)				M.O.M:	Harry Jonson
What a game this was. Referee Ahern Playforth had to say “ This game was a real spectacle and a joy to referee, both teams were superb and have lots of potential” Scouting For goals were the first to draw blood in this game, after Harry Jonson silky skills stepped past 3 players and coolly passed it into the corner. In the second half Qatar made there come back after some clinical finishing from Joel Platt and the brute strength of Tua smith, Qatar took the lead. Scouting for Goals had chance after chance after some superb individual skill from Jake Beanland , but were just unable to capitalise. In the final few moments Qatar parked the bus and were able to hold out to clinch the vital 3 points.

Friday U16 7s Champions League
Aint Got A Kalou	2		v	6	Lorraine
Top Scorer:		Dan Jones (2)				M.O.M:	Frankie Sharrat
*Lorraine* clinched this victory tonight with a fantastic team performance. The whole Loraine pulled their finger out and really worked hard for each other, pressing Aint Got a Kalou high up the pitch causing them to make mistakes and then capitalising on these mistakes with some clinical finishing from Dan Jones. This was Loraine’s first win of the season and defiantly one of many after last nights clinical performance. Lets hope Aint Got a Kalou bounce back after tonight defeat and come back stronger next week.

Tuesday 5’s Premiership

FC Samlet picked up another three points beating Banana Men in a close encounter with the score line finishing at 15-8. FC Dirty Baggers had to put up a tough fight to take all three points against new boys Do You Even, with the score line finishing at 13-8.

Student Premiership 5’s

C U Next Tuesday put together an okay performance taking all three points against Bend Her Like Beckham 15-9.

Student Championship 5’s

Interpuss put together a brilliant game with lovely passing and finishing helped take them all three points beating Pamvi’s Boys 18-6. Gadaffi Ducks picked up a important three points beating Rodallega Bombs 20-6. Athletico Bilbo narrowly come out on top against Multiple Scoregasms 10-8.

Student League 1

The Wigg took all three points beating Real Sketty 13-6. Dynamo Chicken Kiev took all three points beating PSG Spot in a close encounter.
